Have you ever known someone with a disability? What do you think of when the word "disability' is used. Come join us for the Disabilities Awareness Merit Badge! Spend a few hours learning about disabilities so you can be helpful, courteous, and kind when you meet people with different abilities. This course will be taught by Jennifer Harrison, who has a Master's in Education from Vanderbilt University in Teaching Students with Visual Impairments. She has worked in education and special education for over 20 years. She is also the Scoutmaster for Troop 296. All requirements for this merit badge will be completed during the class.
